Tianjin, China. 2009.7.23 - Digital Tsunami has just wrapped filming in Tianjin, China. The film is being produced for the wholly American owned, cosmetic brush factory of
Anisa International Inc.
The Atlanta based company is an OEM manufacturer supplying global brands such as Smashbox, Sonia Kashuk, Revlon, Lancome, Elizabeth Arden, Estee Lauder, L'Oreal and Maybelline.
Shot on dual High Definition cameras in 16:9 format, the film will launch in New York at the HBA 2009 exposition, commencing September 15. Music has been exclusively composed for the film by Swedish musician, producer and composer Thomas Rydell.
The film will convey the message that Anisa is not only one the highest quality cosmetic brush factories in the world, but also an extremely socially responsible corporation. The factory has ISO certification in both the 9001 and 14001 standards, for quality management and for environmental compliance.
Anisa International was one of the first US corporations to acquire freehold ownership of a factory in the People's Republic of China. The China factory is located in the North Eastern port city of Tianjin, where more than 90% of the world’s cosmetic brush factories are situated.
Digital Tsunami has vast expertise in multi-media as Producer /Director Andrew W Morse and Head of Production Andy Chan and both have over 25 years experience in film production. Morse has been filming worldwide since 1979, and co-ordinated the first High Definition commercial shoot in Australia for Sony, Canon and Imagica in 1989.
